Can the video signal to the I-phone be sent to a larger monitor? I find the phone is hard to see in the sunlight and it is too small for my eyes.

The short answer is no. I use an iPad mini and an Galaxy S4.

apple tv would send whatever is on an iphone to a hd tv.... but your getting a bigger groundstation than the rig flying
