Hi
This is my first hexacopter and today was maiden flight that ended bad :black_eyed:, (the time it was in the air was lovely)
Setup: DJI NAZA, ESC F30 SimonK, Tiger Motors, 12x6 props and 4s 5000 lipo.
After many hours of work to get everyting togheter I finaly took it out for a ride in a smal place with a slope!:upset:
I was flying in atti mode, I also tried failsafe and it work very good except the motors didnt stop when landed, I suppos that is how it should be.
I had two problems when it was in the air.
1. Drift
It started to drift directly! This must be my fault because I started calibration in a tilted/slope position?
Is this somthing that I can change under flight, I read something about Trim?
2. Fast reaction
When moving stick left or right I got a very strong reaction (hexa started to tilt)
Is there something I can do to get it to react much smoother?
All of this lead to the crash
- Calibration in slope, made it drift very fast!
It ended with one broken arm and some broken propellars, (I have to order new carbon tubes):shame:
How thick need carbon tubes to be, (the tubes I have today is outer 21 mm inner 18-19 mm)
Is there different types of carbon tubes, is some more suiteble for for multicopter?
Thanks
