Does anyone know where to buy the output video cable for the Immersion Uno 5800? I seem to only be able to find the whole receiver with cables etc.
Thanks!
you can get them at radio shack,,,, it's a 4 place 3.5mm stereo a/v cable
prolinks vsry06mg
that's assuming your talking about the rx side,,, on the tx side i just use standard servo plug on ground, +5v if i need it and vid. the 3 place ones stretch across those 3 pins
Yes the RX side. It's the 1/4" mini to RCA Video (yellow) & Red or white for audio. I forget because I cut off the audio RCA's..
I have a few 1/4' mini phono to RCA video for like an old Sony Handycam but they do not seem to work.
Trying to use the "AV2" outptut on the UNO 5800 V2 just to run to a second monitor.
I assume AV1 and AV2 both output the video signal received by the UNO 5800. AV1 goes to my FPV monitor on my Controller/Transmitter, I want to be able to let others see the feed, thus using AV2 and the need of the second cable.
Hmm thats what I have. so I guess maybe the AV2 is bad? or the cable I tried was bad.. I have a bunch of those cables, I should be able to find something.
use the top row for the pinout your after, get a volt meter and pinout continuity check to make sure yellow is really the yellow pinout, etc. all you need is video, there isn't usually sound needed so it might be the red or white rca jack that is the video signal,,, otherwise just try the red and white like there a yellow end and make sure the signal isnt there. Worse case scenario you get a cable that the polarity is reversed and there is no combination
When we use these we cut the plugs off and just keep the 1/8" jack and solder everything else in so i've honestly never checked this before, looking at that chart above, see standard camcorder, that's showing reverse polarity, might be lot of what you have already's problem
or
gets rid of a failure point and a pile of wire and connectors...
Wow, thanks so much for all the info. Ordered another one for $4.00 but since you sent me the correct pin out, I can just wire one of my many 1/8" plugs to the correct RCA plug.
thanks again, awesome info!
