Got to give it to you Ken.. you certainly are a glutton for punishment... we'll all watch with interest.. What does the ultrasonic thingy do?

You'll recognize the frame I've got it mounted in...
So I've flown it now and have to say it's a huge improvement over the KK blue board. Pretty good for version 1 release, it will do everything the Kk can and keep its trim for an entire battery pack. Can't say for sure how good it can really fly as I've only been out in the front yard with it, need to get to a big field to be able to open it up and see what its got. I do think the motors I have on the frame are a bit too much, I'm going to swap them for some smaller higher KV motors I've got hanging around to see what that does for it.
Sometime this week I'm going to give it a back to back test flight with the Kk blue board mounted on the little 350MM quad frame I have. So far I'm happy with the way it flys, not expecting much more than basic flight with aerobatic ability and it appears to have all of that, nothing fancy.
The ultrasonic thingy is it's version of altitude hold mainly for beginners and indoors flight. If I remember right they're good for up to 10 or 15 feet in the air and useless beyond that, more than likely I won't be using that feature at all.
For the price, well if I hadn't gotten in on the lower introductory pricing I probably wouldn't have bothered, it works good but not $225 worth of good when there are boards like the Quadrino out there for a lot less $ with more capability.
I'm curious, what sensors are on it? Compass? Baro?
(I'm still not going to buy one. Not open source.)
Haven't a clue, my eyesight isn't good enough to read the tiny little writing on the components and the folks at Hoverfly haven't said though they might if anyone asked. It's basically a stripped down version of the big board but no acc, no compass, no baro, just a tarted up KK type of board for sport flying.
