they feel great in the hand.... but i aint even heard em... I'm not sure if theres more yet or not. these were all custom wound, had to wait for there testing to finish before i got em and now there all waiting on me to tell em yea or nay. We will hear em within a week, no matter what they end up on. my impressions by the stats are there gonna act like a scorpion motor, make a ton of power but not be very efficient doing it...... but that's just looking at the numbers

kloner - any word on the Leopard motor testing yet? I have mine on order but probably be a week or two before I have them.

Few pics of my Leopard motor order:

Got 3 different sizes for review, 2 of which are being setup on builds now. So far have not run them but the build quality and packaging seem nice :)

they have a high end feel to em. I'm dying to go test mine out, but i've been in and out of the hospital so i'm suckin wind. finally off pain killers so the maiden is soon on mine. Sucks cause i'm not only playing with unfamilliar motors, but on a layout i've never flown with a flight controller i've never setup or flown before. Has my stomach in a knot. Especially after my hex's maiden that went horrible with the same never used before parts.

Ya they definitely feel nice. I spent last Sunday in ER and been feeling like crap for the last 2 weeks as well so it also slowing me down on builds and testing :( Hope you get feeling better soon.

good question. The 22mm stuff will be here next week,,,, think there might be some 28mm motors but there 900 kv so that sucks....... it's not a 12" prop motor like the prototypes i got. There alot like tigers......

Kloner very interested in your results. Altitude is just up the road from me. Looking at the Leopard site they have wide assortment of motors. Looking at your photos I was impressed with the way they mounted the magnets and if the blue stuff really is balancing compound that would seem that you could infer they are balancing the bells dynamically prior to final assembly.

You should talk to Garret. He's been targeting the 3d plank guys so his selection is half way there. The sizing is the outer dimensions so if your not used to that, it's deceiving..

I got an under gained flight with a sticky gimble recorded with em so far. I would by no means consider this as good as they can do, but check out the begining/ending and the sound they make. it was too windy, rigs not tuned yet, first goes at manual mode flying, nex5 a with a non ios pancake lens

You can see the motors smoothness when the gimble bottoms out showing the landing gear.

This is promising. Garrett has hooked my up with a hexa with leopard motors. I had to steal 2 arms to put on my quad so im held up right now. I am anxious to try these. I need to order my spare parts. I also agree that these motors seem very light and smooth. I am going to call garret to get my spares.. lol
Must get up and running...

Sorry for being so late getting on here, guys.

Yes, as kloner said, we have been focusing on bringing in sizes for the plank guys. But, we will be placing another order very soon and will be targeting more multicopter sizes. If anyone has suggestions for specific sizes or KV options, let us know. Is the 760kv OK in the 3536 size for most of you guys?

Just FYI, the 2830 we sell currently has the same exact X-mount dimensions to fit our iFlight 450mm and 550mm frames. I imagine they should also fit the DJI frames as well without modification.

the 760 is gonna be a majority of the guys that'll spend the extra will want

is there a 900kv in the 3536? is it already there?
