Well here it is...not done any video editing for nearly 2 decades so i'm a bit rusty...been trying out all the new programs and i settled for the SONY Vegas HD 11...found it easiest to use with minimal time required.

Raw 720 HD footage is clearer but too big for Youtube.

Just using TPPacks vibration iso mount.

Ok... apparently in this day and age you can upload huge files for free.

Here's the 720 HD version of Mission 2...using the 'good' render in SV 11.

Hi Mike...looks like you got a nice new toy...built in WiFi and monitor are nice features and should be worth the extra $$....even waterproof. How would you rate the JVC in comparison to the GoPro ?
I could never cope with that cube design from the GoPro. For Action Sport and motorbike I use the http://contour.com/products/contour-plus. It's great to mount on a helmet or motorbike, but rather awkward to mount on a gimbal. Here some footage when I had it mounted on my bike: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lbeHYNL_p74 (YouTube compression sucks...) and for the Fun-copter (GAUI 500X) I use the FlyCamOne HD 1080....but your new baby makes my order-finger itching.

Please, keep posting your experience with the JVC

That's a sweet looking beauty....apart from the technical side, I like well designed products....and this is one. How is your impression regarding general handling (settings....) ?

To be honest i haven't played with the software much yet....been busy trying out video editing packages...finally went with the SONY VEGAS 11 PLATINUM.

DROID APP
The WiVideo app for android was crashing on my DX phone but i just updated it with a new release last night but haven't tried it.

When i get a chance i'll try the wifi video and see how far it goes....which may or may not be good for FPV.

DESKTOP
The desktop software is pretty basic i still use the mini usb to d/l my movies as it appears faster that the wifi option.

It has the option of being a wireless security camera if you are in range of the same wifi network....desktop picture window quality is good in daylight.

It would be cool if they could have another option to link to a remote IP server then you could use it has a wireless security cam.

CAM MENU
Screen good but needs to be brighter for sunny conditions...also the record LED could be brighter but it makes distinctive sounds so you know what its doing.

It has an option for picture inversion so you don't have to rotate it if you're hanging it oppose to standing it up...not a big deal.

CAM
Light.

Small.

Picture...seems to be as good as the GP but i do not own one.

Mic is good picks up the main sounds from distance...wind noise is ok.

Screw on lens cover protectors are cool.

Would have been nice if the lens rotated so you could mount it horizontally...oh well.

Well that's my first thoughts...more to come.

Aerial DP
nice little cam.....

if i had that mountain in my backyard i'd have to get a zII to surf it

do you get to watch out the 450 during the mission fpv or just from the laptop map?

Just the laptop map right now...will be looking into the cam's own wifi this w/e to either laptop PIP or via my droid to see what it can do.

But right i'm doing the good old battery up sizing and trying to figure out the results before i add any more weight / power drains...after that's done and tested planning on getting some FPV gear aka Lawmate 1.2G for some surfin :).

3S-2950s = ~8min
3S-4200s = ~10min
3S-5000s = Tonight = $11min?

Like your vids BTW.

Some 1080-30 raw manual fly footage...not bad imo.

Was in manual as i'd over heated my datalink with 30 mins of flying in 105* in direct sun...need some shade :)

Hi!
I'm new to the forum, so hello everyone! :)
I'm a programmer, a fan of tech gadgets etc and also working on my first quadcopter right now, however I write this post here to invite you to test my Android app for interaction with JVC Adixxion.
It is called WyVideo, as an alternative to WiVideo, and is available here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=piozabor.android.wevideofree
I'm working on more features, propably more useful for you ;) Any constructive comments are apprecieted!

I'm curious, the fact that the camera says"quad proof" on it...does that imply that it was made with heli's in mind? Kinda odd that it says that.
