The Splash Drone has arrived. The Splash Drone is an aerial camera platform that is fully waterproof,
100% buoyant and can safely be used in aquatic environments. The system arrives completely assembled and includes a waterproof camera stabilization gimbal (compatible with GoPro 3 and 4) a telemetry
equipped, remote control radio system and a video transmitter: FPV even when the camera is underwater. The Splash Drone Auto can be flown from a phone or tablet, has way point navigation and can automatically follow a moving subject. This is the perfect drone for anybody who loves water sports or finds themselves flying over water often.
Features
1. Waterproof Camera Gimbal: A 2 axis camera stabilization gimbal allows the
pilot to manipulate the position of the camera during flight and ensures
smooth video capture.
2. App based control: Allows the pilot to fly the Splash Drone with a mobile
device.
3. Follow me mode: Automatically follows a moving subject. All the moving
subject needs is a mobile device.
4. Point Of Interest : Automatically keeps a subject in frame.
5. Autonomous Mission Planner: Click waypoints on a map and have the
Splash Drone execute a predetermined flight path.
6. Return Home: The Splash Drone will automatically ascend to a
predetermined safe altitude then return to its take off position if radio
contact is lost or if the pilot activates this function.
7. GoPro Dive Case: Seals and protects GoPro from the elements. Feeds live
video directly from the GoPro to the video transmitter.
8. Integrated video transmitter: Transmits a clear video signal for up to 2
miles.
9. Telemetry flight control and remote control system: Telemetry at the palm
of your hands, displays Splash Drones location, altitude, distance and
battery status.
10. Payload Release Mechanism: Can drop a two pound payload at the flip of a
switch
11. Attitude Stabilization: - 12 axis guidance auto adjust altitude providing a
high level of maneuverability.
12. Auto Landing: The Splash Drone can automatically land itself when battery
drops below preset levels.
