Trying to hook up my Naza to a Ch 8 its Ezuhf Immersion RX via PPM and for some reason the channel 1 to 4 a mixed up.
Did one of you already try this. DId i miss some configuration were one can assign the channels ?

Radio is a DX7s already binded to a different Ezuhf RX used in traditional mode were it works without probs!

Thanks

the channels are numbered wrong to work i think. i tried sbus with a jr radio and throttle was ail and so on

Maybe dji has a firmware for it? hahaha

Ah okay I have the exact same problem ! Did you check the immersion forum ? Should I search or have you looked already ?

Thanks

no i didn't....i think it's a dji thing,,, they have to give us a window to assign channels. I love how easy they are to tune, one knob, but they lack such simple settings like this scenario..... lame

I use this on an eagle tree osd pro, ppm in and it mixes, does all the stuff. That has a said window,,,, can assign any of the 8 ch to anything

I think DJI used a Futaba mapping for the channels, nice if you're using a Futaba radio with PPM, pretty useless for anthing else.

I agree they need a setup window to set channel mappings and a few other things as well. I'd also like to see the Naza have RTH on low voltage warning like the WKM does, hover then land doesn't help if my FPV quad is a 1/4 to a 1/2 mile away when the battery gets low!

Think you are on the right track wit that ! Posted it with the Immersion guys, who claim there aren't any issues ! Lets see if they can do something from their side FW wise:

had same issue a few weeks ago with the DX8

nothing IRC can do about it as the PPM stream is coming from the radio, so it's either the radio which needs a software fix - zero chance of that, Spektrum told me they don't support things like EzUHF - or DJI need to add a specific setting for spektum PPM

contacted DJI about it, not had a response…

hmm but isn't isn't it just a question of the PPM interpretation between the Spetrum and the EzUhf TX ? Shoudlnt it be possible to just load a Skeptrum PPM FW on the Ezuhf TX ?

if immersion did a mapping feature, they'd be ahead of the curve for uhf on spektrum with dji products. DJI seems to own a huge part of the market right now... (trying to give you ideas to make a reason for him to do it)

This one part where open source coding rules........ somebody on a forum would just alter the mapping in the firmware like you said in 3 minutes and be free to all. with the proprietary stuff, we sit and wait

what would suck would be sanders guineea pig with $1200 wk's on $2800 s800's

They wouldn't even have to go as far as a mapping feature ( which would be nice though, but they would see it as a lot of work having to change Immersion tools for mapping channels ) just a Spektrum Naza PPM FW. It should also be in their interest considering the spectrum naza seems like a common combo. Especially for FPV quads.

It's just an observation, but IRC are futaba users and their kit is supplied futaba ready.

Whenever i've pm'd sander at IRC about spektrum related issues he's always had a reply, but often it's suffixed with "…but we all use futaba radios and have no experience with spektrum"

So i doubt whether any spektrum related changes to Ezuhf are a priority and to be honest i'm not that urked… partly because i'm in the process of switching over to futaba anyway.

As said above the course of least resistance would appear to be a change to WKM/Naza tools adding a spektrum ppm option.
