I think they were talking about the “New posts” button. It used to live on the second row of buttons on the far left.
It only showed threads that had new posts, it was a different result than the “Active Threads’ button.

it's actually generated along with the HOME button which I knowingly deleted not realizing they were interrelated.

i've got to pony up the money and time to switch forums software. vbulletin isn't particularly horrible but development has run its course and the newer versions aren't worth updating to from what i've been told.

and now back to our regularly scheduled programming.

I use active threads but have always wanted the option to go back a few pages as there are sometimes recent threads that drift off the page. Using Search is way to cluttered.

I use the Active Thread button every time I get on the site to catch up on new posts and such. I like the dropdown that allows to search via 1 day, 2 days, 3 days...etc. It was missing for me yesterday and this morning but it seems to be up and running again!!! Thanks Bart!

I also surf the subforums once I am caught up on the new stuff.
