Hoverfly HFPro S-Bus

Does the HFPro support S-Bus receivers?

Also I watched the video tutorial about wiring up the controller and they left all the power wires connected on the ESC's but in the manual it says to leave one and disconnect the rest.

Does everyone disconnect the power wire on the ESC signal connector?

Yeah, I can blow that up.
No S-bus.

If you have opto-escs then you can leave the red wire connected on all of your escs. If you are using an esc with a built in bec then only connect the red wire from one of them to the HFP.

Yeah it would be nice to have a simple connection. Although I did buy some single wire connectors for all the receiver connections except the throttle. That helped cut down on the wire clutter/bulk.

I've connected my esc's with and without the power, haven't noticed a difference either way. I think without is safer it's just a pain :)

It's not recommended, but I connect all my Turnigy Plush 40a ESC with the power wire (red) intact on all of them. I think Photronix does as well. I'm thinking electrically, the ESC's should have protection diodes in them already. I've done it both ways with success.

I asked HF about this and the answer I got was they got some reports of problems early on and found that by only connecting one BEC the issue went away. So it sounds like a best practice where it just depends....
