I used StumbleUpon and found this forum. Lots of real good information and I have lurked for some time and decided id contribute as well (what little I can). Im currently building my first multi and have been flying heli (3d mostly) for a little over a year. I started into fpv amd thats purpose of my build. Currently I run the fpv on a surface rig...

welcome - prepare to be addicted to multi rotor :) I want badly to put a FPV setup on a surface rig. Is it as much fun as I imagine?

I have my gear on a 1/5th scale savage flux conversion and it is awesome. The range is no where near as good as the same setup in the air but real fun just the same...I run the fat shark dominators on 5.8 with immersionrc 600mw tx and my video passes my current tx range(dx3r). I have two friends that will drive at same time. It kills time for sure. I get about 1.25hrs of fpv at a go on the truck. We all started building fpv quads after one of the trio bought a dji 450 and has since switched to a tbs discovery..now we want to race quads lol. This hobby(rc) is so fun
