Hi guys.

I'm new in this forum and i just have to share the last flight with u.

Im trying a new hex a and gimbal lokaly produced here in Sweden.

At first i had sooooo much problems with the hexa, after 3,5 min flight the hex a started to drift hard right and back almost uncontrollably.
a lot of head scratching was done and i figured that i had the wrong props for the Hexa so i switched from 11x7 to 12x3,8, both APC slowflyer.

But it was still an small issue with the drift, so i found and replaced 1 speed controler and now i flies great and I'm so happy!

I have also never got the other gimbals to adjust more than 30° in flight, but with the MRT gimbal it easy rotate more than 90°.

Here are a short film from last evening, raw footage and no stabilization is done. https://vimeo.com/42723090

Here u can see the build, its in Swedish but u can see the pics. http://www.rcflyg.se/forum/showthread.php/32048-Mrt-h6

Nice smooth footage, well done but never fly directly over people - please! You never know what could happen.

Where do you get the gimbal? - it looks a lot like cinestar.

Looks like a cinestar clone possibly made by jugg? I dont blame people for copying the designs as long as your not selling them. The cinestar frame costs too much for what it is. Get me access to a couple of parts and a CNC and the frame can easily be copied at a fraction of the cost.

A friend of mine has designed this with the Cinestar in mind, but with modifications... and to a price of half of what the original cost... it flies very well and the gimbal is nothing short of amazing.

Thats fine if your friend is just making it for himself or a friend but if your friend is selling these (which it sounds like they are) then he/she shouldent be doing that. The designs belong to quadrocopter.us, making modifications doesnt change that fact. Profiting from oher peoples work without consent is wrong.

This one is NOT a cinestar, The designer probably liked the design and thoughts of the concept, but its built from scratch, no copy!!

From what u wrote before i can understand that u what to copy the Cinestar straight of, and thats wrong!!

MRT is not a clone or a Cinestar, but the Cinestar guys found a good way to get a rig thats stabile and really nice...
why not have the concept in mind when designing your own machine? i don't think its stealing... If u get the blueprints and copy it, then it is.

I think this been on the drawing boards for 2-3 years so i think u are wrong Malcr001.

If its not a cinestar copy then your friend has been greatly influenced by it. Sure there are some modifications but that doesnt make it right... just saying.
