Got a question on GoPro and fpv use

I'm going to be doing a new build with an RC Carbon small Quad combo kit.

It comes with a GoPro camera mount, and I'm planning to use one for recording and snap shots, but I'm also curious on it's use for fpv.

What I really want to know is how does this look under the goggles?

I've seen the vids of recorded flight and they look great, but am really curious as to the video quality with Goggles.

Right now I use FoxTech AIO goggles and really like them, on 5.8ghz. Video quality sucks with the ccd camera I'm using, cm-420, not the best.

Thought about a higher line resolution ccd camera to replace it but the money would go a long way towards the GoPro.

I use the GoPro for FPV and A/P. The quality is limited by you vTx/vRx set up and your goggles. If you can find someone that has one, connect your vTx to the TV out from the GoPro. That will give you a better idea.

Welcome to MultiRotorForums.com!!
I used a GoPro for aerial vid and ustilized the live view with Iftron Tx and Rx and Myvu goggles. The video quality in the goggles was fine but, like Tahoe Ed said, if your goggles aren't too good then the video from the GoPro won't look very good. In photo mode the video to your goggles will be interrupted with each photo. in video mode it shows in your goggles in real time while it's recording video.
please keep in mind if anyone is buying a GoPro, if you use the link at the bottom of most pages to make a purchase from the GoPro store the site will receive a small commission from the sale.
THanks
