Got A Dead GoPro - Get It Fixed

I do use the GoPro on my Naza and Wookong WK-M and have killed a few of them and maybe some of you have done the same.

I found this place that does repairs at a flat rate of $75 for the GoPro 2 (less for the other models) and they have a quick turn around rate......http://www.goprorepair.com/

I just shipped mine off to them and will let you all know how it went.......$75 bucks is sure a lot better than dropping $300 again......that was my 3rd GoPro.

Note: I do not work for these guys or have anything to do with them other than having my cam fix and thought it might be useful to others.

nice, what broke? i just got an rma for a hero2 and the last few times they had me sending it to them, this time it went to Riverside and the email said it'd be repaired or replaced. All my other encouters with GP is they don't fix em. Something changed over there

Whats the turnaround at that place like?

Hi kloner,

I had to cut throttle on my quad and let it drop rather than let it go where it was headed and I was out flying in a rocky area. Dropped about 20 feet (in waterproof case) but it hit a rock right on the record button.....was still recording when I finally found it (too about 45 min to locate). Turned the power off and after that it would not power up anymore. Took it apart to see if I could fix the problem but it was a no go.

Was searching for the cheapest price I could find to purchase a new GoPro 2 and ran across this site.

They say once received it should be 1 to 3 days before it is shipped back to me......I sent it USPS priority, insured w/deliv. confirmation.

This place does not look like they have anything to with GoPro, they mostly do medical imaging equipment repair and my guess they figured they found an area where they could make some extra income.

Once I get it back I'll post with the results and what the actual turn around was.
