Gone brain dead HELP????

OK, I think I've got oldtimers, maybe sun spots, aliens ??? I'm trying to setup a new quad. I've got my tin foil beenie on. Started with a KK2.1 MC, and a Spider 4 in 1 ESC. Problem is when arming motors, they start way too fast/high rpm. However, when ESC plugged straight to throttle of receiver, like when calibrating, it works fine. Slow crawl to wide open. Hooked back to MC, and arms around half throttle ???? I've tried different motors, ESC's and even a NAZA lite MC. Everything I try results in the same thing. Motors arm at a hover rpm when connected to MC. No matter if I use a 2600kv motor, or a 750kv motor, either will arm at about half throttle. I swear it seems so simple, but I can't grasp it. I have calibrated, one at a time, all together with a harness, even used a programing card with some T-Motor ESC's I tried. Tried setting start speed in NAZA to as low as allowed, no effect. Doesn't change from setting low, to high start, still arms about half throttle. I'm using a Spektrum DX8, and have tried moving the throttle limits all over the place, no change. I had this problem before, but can't for the life of me remember what it was I did wrong. HELP !!!!:black_eyed::upset::dread::livid::dejection::dejection::dejection:

OK, finally got-er-done! What a pain. I think the high kv motors (2600) require a slow start setting on the ESC's. It starts at almost a hover, and the setting in Naza Lite assistant has no effect, as I believe they are starting higher than the fastest setting would be in the assistant software. For now, it fly's, so it's just down to tweaking, FPV gear, etc. etc.

did you do the calibration? mentions like calibrating but i'm pretty sure it needs to be done on anything without fixed endpoints like simonK
