Have come to the conclusion this FC is not good...
Initially built a 450 with GPS and it flew superbly for a while. After about ten flights the model started glitching which led to a prang....
Anyhow repaired the bird and, after researching the problem, removed all of the bullet connectors and soldered the joints. It still played up so I
swapped the motors and esc's with new ones, still no good.... Next I swapped the V-Sen LED unit but... no good...
At this point I was completely fed up, so decided to give the product another go with a new 550 setup. New controller motors/esc's the lot. Built her up and
all worked superbly. Manual, Attitude, GPS and failsafe all worked a treat with no glitches whatsoever, hurraahhh!! Flying yesterday in GPS mode it decides to flip on it's back and pile in, wrecked...
Post crash investigation reveals two dead motors, strange... Truth is, it would be strange if they both had died at the same time but they hadn't, the motor signal output from the NAZA is dead on motors
1 and 6 hence the violent flip! It'd been flying perfectly for two weeks up to this point...
(I'll just add that all the joints were also soldered on the 550).
Anyhow, I had laying around a $12 Hobby King FC board. I replaced the $200 Naza unit with this on the first troublesome quad and guess what? Fly's perfect no glitching...
I've been flying heli's for thirty years and can honestly say I've never had problems with a product like I've experienced here, I'm out! (Align 3G wasn't clever, but at least it stayed in the air!)
