gas powered mutirotor

rotormotor

I know no such thing, but why not?

I know of electric motors that are tiny 800 watt with higher voltage and lower amperage, That have the same torgue and speed as the standard 20volt 40 amp type rotormotor. I just cant find a tiny gererator of any kind. Lots a money there to be made with that. Ive checked this forum and cant find a topic on this, there has to be one somewhere?
any thoughts?

It would be nice to have a tiny gas motor connected to a tiny electric generator that produced electricity for tiny electric motors mounted to rotors. How much fly time would that get you?
Extra energy for high power xmitters and have 30 mile plus , many hours FVP trip? Search and rescue, ...needs it badly!

gasser single rotor helis often have a generator onboard to run all the electrical stuff,,,, any brushed motor is also a generator but to get the current you need to be anything like a lipo would be tough to duplicate..... the ability to surge a lot of current rapidly.

Right now the lipos are getting light enough to get 40 minutes plus on an electric light weight quad

All that said, the gas it takes to run a small gas motor is heavy, the motors are even heavier
