it is best to run it all off the flight pack, through regulators and filters. if you run a 3s pack, filter is all you need, like this

if you run 2s you need something like this

4s, this is a good choice, i personally use it

then theres real products likie TBS CORE that does 2 power supplies, 2 sets of filters all built into one unit

depends on the vtx..... i use lawmate,,,, it is a 12volt tx, but runs better down around 10.5 volts, less noise, heat, etc..... immersion stuff doesn't need anything al all, it has built in regulators, has built in filters. all the rest of the brands need everything 12 volt, no choice.

just less crap, more power to fly further if you got weight and room to spare, put a pack in for flight..... I'll burn 6000 mah, takes me a 1/2 hour and wheni land if it used a spare battery, would have been like 200 mah, 800-2000 spare mah left over.

Even when a plane battery goes all the way past fully discharged, the stuff stays on once the motor shuts off and lets the amps goto the vtx... I did it a few trips ago, took 10 minutes to find it and the video was still transmitting. They use like a half an amp, like a few led bulbs
