Falcon Drone System Frame plates.

Hey guys, do you have an old Vulcan frame laying around. You love it, but it's starting to look dated and just doesn't fit all the equipment like you would like? Well my friend Tom from Falcon Drone Systems has a solution. He has full kits available that includes motor mounts and all, but for guys like me with a pile of Vulcan parts he offers some AWESOME frame plates. All the mounting holes are there and the carbon is excellent. I just "almost" finished rebuilding my Vulcan X8 with the Falcon frame plates and I could not be happier.

As you can see the frame plates are set up to accommodate the batteries on top and have a direct mount for the Tarot retracts that everyone is using. AND the way the arms mount you get an extra hole or two to secure your arms in. These breathed a whole new life into my old Vulcan frame. Can't wait to get the Greasy H6 back onto this rig and flying!

@SleepyC - What are you using for a micro HDMI to AV converter on this setup?

The little battery is just for the LED's and I'm using the Paralinx Triton with this guy. Micro to HDMI directly in. Or can bounce the connex from my Hexacrafter X8 if I have to.

I really like the battery mount plates. Similar would function well with Tarot 810 and 1000 frames. Extending the L/G out the sides a little bit as was done with the Vulcan plates would also be great. Improved functionality, expansion room for options, cleaner installs.

I bet those mounts and arms draw a lot of heat away from those motors. Anyone know the weight of frame alone in first photo?

I've been told the weight... 4670 does not include the lipos.

That's with 4114 400kv motors, 40 amp esc, grouse house gimbal and NEX cam, not sure of frame alone.

This is what I've learned from Tom so far:

The F1 CF plates alone are $125... They are 2.5 mm thick. They are designed for rectangular or square tubing. I'm currently using booms from Vulcan UAV but have just sourced a supplier to manufacture my own; they will be available in anodized red, black and silver. Hopefully I'll have them on hand in a few weeks. Until then, I offer the Vulcans in lengths of 350 mm ($21 each) and 500 mm ($26 each).

I don't know how much the motor mounts are. Sweet looking frames and pretty reasonable imo.
