Hi,
I built a F550 with the NAZA controller, everything as its in the manual.
I have a Futaba 10CHG in airplane mode and a 8 Channel Futaba Sbus receiver.
I use Sbus for connection to the naza.
I started the DJ naza config and proceeded exactly like requested in the manual. I calibrated the transmitter input, reversed two channels to make it right, setup the switch for manual and attitude mode, use intelligent mode etc.
Then I started the copter with the knob combination, works fine.
I push throttle a bit, so that the copter doesn't shut off the motors but doesn't lift off.
Then I test pitch and roll, the copter still sitting in the grass. It moves as it should.
Then I push throttle until lift off (manual mode) the copter lifts off motors start pushing it and off it goes!! I take the throttle back to minimum, but it doesn't change.
From the moment its in the air the motors speed up on their own and the copter rises rotates (yaw) with about 1Hz or less. The copter is pretty much level though. just that it rises and rotates.
Then I tried Ajusting the autopilot. I put YAW adjust on a knob of my transmitter. Lowered it, but it still rotated. I put the vertical gain on another knob, it has no influence at all. Because I'm in manual mode.
I test attitude mode. Led starts blinking, so I know I'm there. Same behaviour. As soon as the copter lifts off motors spin up and the copter rises. Pulling the throttle down doesn't help. I have to kill the motors to get it back and alread broke an arm... glued it.
I lowered the two attitude gains by 10%, but it still did the same. arm broke again. glued it again. better glue
I did not do any further testing, because I thought its smarter to ask someone first.
I highly appreciate your help and I'm sorry I didn't contribute to the forum in any way before asking for help. I'm new to all this.
Best wishes
Raphael
