F450 flipping over

Quadruple noob
Hello everyone,

I recently bought my first quadcopter a dji450 with naza. However after putting it all together it doesn't want to fly correctly.
The moment I slowly up the throttle to let it take off it tries to flips over the moment it's 1cm above the ground. And I can't seem to figure out how to fix this problem.
What I have already checked:
I checked the calibration of the transmitter. (these line up perfectly back to green when not touching them after the calibration)
I tried different gain levels (from 50-200% in steps of 15%).
I checked if the motor's rotate in the correct direction.
I checked if the correct props (L vs R spinning) where on the correct motor's.
I made certain the naza wasn't installed upside down (read somewhere this could cause the problem)
I made certain that I turned on the transmitter first without pressing anything.
I then plugged in the lipo while the f450 was flat on the ground without pressing any controls until the led showed the slow orange blink meaning it was waiting for a signal.

I use the stock dji 10inch props, the dji 920KV motors and the 30A OPTO ESC's. I also upgraded the Naza to the latest firmware.

Here are a few picture's incase any of you see anything incorrect there.
In the first one I marked which direction each motor is rotating to and what motor slots I connected them to on the Naza.

I hope anyone can help me with this problem since I just can't figure out what else it could be.

If the white arms are your front, it looks like your Naza is mounted sideways. It should be dead center and properly facing forward (the end that has the f1 and f2 plugs is the front)

tstrike is correct. You need to rotate your Naza with the motor leads to the front between motor one on the right and two on the left. Let us know if that works for you.

The slow blinking orange light means you're in ATTI mode (which is what you want for takeoff), you'll get no blinking light in manual mode (which is much harder to takeoff in).
Hi Ed, anymore flights with the s800?

I am packing up for a morning of flying right now. Taking the S800 with a GoPro hard mounted to the bottom plate, my F450 with my FPV/OSD set up including EagleEyes and my newly rebuilt F550 with a Naza. I have enough lipos for 30+min of flight with each. By the time I get back, I will be pooped. But with a smile on my face. I will post some video afterwards.

Well I turned it 45[SUP]o[/SUP] then started it all up and guess what.

I worked perfectly. I think it should be been put more clearly into the manual but oke.

In any case thanks for the help everyone. Time to learn how to fly.

My Witespy 450 w/NAZA does not arm in ATTI mode. Anyone have suggestions? In manual mode, mine also want's to flip.

Thanks

Pictures always help in trying to diagnose a problem. Otherwise we are shooting in the dark and wasting your time and ours.
