EzOSD Placement

I'd like an opinion on where I have all the gear mounted in my new rebuild.
I tried to keep the EzOSD as far away from the Naza/GPS as possible.
But I'm having questions on the Video Tx and EzOSD.

1. Is it ok to place the main EzOSD module underneath the canopy? Will this screw up the signal?
2. Video transmission for FPV is a must. Any issues in it's current location? to the side.

- Naza GPS mounted in the center in the back
- Spektrum mounted underneath in the lower back right
- EzOSD up front, but underneath the canopy
- 400mhz Video Tx to the left side

Any feedback would be great.

it looks good. the problem here is you don't have any room to do much anything else. only thing i see that might not be best is how that 5.8 cloverleaf can get behind the cover from you.... plan flying high or low or all? nearby or are you planning stretching it out?

neat machine. if the fpv specific stuff wasn't so readily available, i'd want that one

the thing your gonna see is where it's setup if theres any static issues, you need to address them before flying away..... see how long the satts take to lock in. You got em pretty seperated. 5.8 vtx's kinda screw with sats. The sats can usually be together but you don't want the osd part to be out back,,,,, i like how its setup. do some ground checks then keep it los and look at the monitor , have somebody help you keep an eye on where it is so look up you can find it easily

I can possibly mount the video Tx underneath the dome and have the 5.8ghz Skew Planar Antenna stick out straight up.
That might be a better placement. Not sure if that'll be an issue with the main Naza module though.

Not sure of the flying style yet. Defintially no more than 2kms. I'm starting to outgrow los so FPV is the next step. I've used the 7 inch LCD for sometime now on my previoius build, but couldn't really depend on it. I have some Vuzix on-route, so hopefully on this build I'll get into the fpv and not turn back. I have a few antennas to play around. (All 5.8ghz) - two Skew Planar, one AN5808 8dBi high gain patch and one 11dbi omni-directional antennas. That should keep me going for awhile.

then stick it straight up, you'll get excellent reception...... 5.8 hates being blocked like it might get...... tear it up
