Good morning,

It's time to build up a new MR :nevreness:

I am looking for a professional multirotor. Easy to carry, capable to carry a good quality camera, 3 Axis gimbal and as safe as possible. My idea is reach the biggest market of clients possible. I had an S800 + Nex 7 but I found the camera was too "pro" for the NO video/photo professionals and not enough for the video/photo professionals (For example, Sony compressed format).

I was going directly for the S1000 + Z15-5D but now I'm going to something more compact.

Flight Controller:
I've been checking ZERO UAV Gemini because of the double MC and GPS but there is very few information about it. My second option is Wookong above A2. The last option is the SuperX, XAircraft flight controller.

Gimbal:
I don't have any preference for the gimbal yet. The best option I know is the Zenmuse (I've had it) It works quite well but it's too heavy and expensive for the work it's done.

Cameras: Here is where I am more lost. I need a flexible camera for different kind of jobs. The lighter the better, RAW Pics, I do not know it 4K GH4 is good enough for "pros" because of the bits.

i'd head towards the gh4 sony 7 route unless you need raw 1080 video and can't carry a couple more pounds and just fly an epic. We really like the gh4 but theres no doubt it's a tougher sale, isn't as nice looking as anything red.... 5d footage is pretty desireable, it's just not much lighter than an epic once the glass is on em both.

all the frames in my opinion are too small for any of that payload.

I'd put superX at the top of the list.....

I really like the S900 or S1000. I beleve the S900 can carry a good size payload.

We now run 3 S900 with A2's (took possession of the last 2 on Monday, 2 have lightbridge, 1 has AVL58, all 3 run the 2.4G DataLink). Also have a X8 as a heavy lifter (actually finishing it's upgrade this week). The S1000 is a waste of money at it's current price.

We have 3 setups for the S900's, any of the S900 can carry any of the payloads:
1 has a modular CF tray, on it we can installed pretty much anything we want. Currently it has a FLIR camera.
1 has a InfinityM gimbal with a Sony PJ810 for 1080p inspection work. I can also put my GH4 on it.
1 has a (still on it's way) Zenmuse Z15-GH4 gimbal.

For the X8, it has the same rail spacing as on the S900, so anything fits on it... I'll be bugging kloner later to see what i can strap to it, to maybe, carry something bigger (Red Dragon?)...

You will quickly see that the UAS are only part of the solution. A MAJOR part is what's on the ground. In our case we needed multiple portable recharging stations, ground stations, processing station (ie a laptop) and vehicles to carry all of that, each in it's own protective cases.

Edit: Can't forget lipo's... you can never have enough. We run Tattu's 6s 16,000mah. Also have a 22,000mah, but haven't tried it yet... Ordered some 10,000mah's which should arrive tomorrow.

I like the option of the S900, I hadn't realized the price difference between the S900 and S1000, I can't undestand it. I would preffer Coax instead of flat configuration because of the carying. Can the S1000 fly an EPIC? My everyday camera is not going to be an Epic but I'd like having he possiblity of doing it.
I'd preffer to aboid DJI buying other manufacturers staff, but I see they keep being the market kings. At this moment my choice is S900 + Wookong/A2 ¿? + GH4/7R + ¿Gimbal?
I have listened that A2 gives more GPS signal because of a new GPS System, is it true?
Have you worked GH4 to work with clients with EPIC type cameras? Is the format too compressed?

the 1000 is there dslr size frame. I don't think it'll do coax cause of the integrated esc's and way it distributes power. If money is a problem, i'd look into a used skyjib, cinestar, etc.

a2 is unreliable.... the superX is money, everybody i let fly it is blown away. It's smooth, doesn't mind wind and super easy to setup.... Makes some killer black box data that helps make sure your setup proper and keep it that way.

We fly gh4 a bit, it has some crazy artifact in stuff really far away like compression but it's random and selective to big chunks of the footage, micro 4/3 where the a7 is full size, but the gh4 will write 4k to sd and a7 needs an external recorder. a7 does dark scenes a little better but i like gh4's dynamic range better. of course the epic just does it all better.

this reel is gh3, gh4 and red epic..... the chick wandering around san juan capistrano, the people walking across the desert in PAL so it looks jumpy, chrysler 200 car and the silverado is epic, the nike soccer and solar farm is gh4, tesla, cemetary, san diego skyline sunrise, marina, sedona, phil mckilson,

If all i had to chose from in your list was what was out there, i'd go gryphon. I'd also note the brand Hexacrafter..... super scaleable and flies really nice, especially the 1100 kits with u7 and 18" props.... super light, ultra strong, carry from a hero to epic all with the same setup reliably. One of the nicest power distribution in the industry and it has a clean plate for the imu so it's a safer option for sketchier flight controllers like a2

I am going to the S900 + GH4. I want to start asap and looks like the best option for that.
The shop assistant recommended me A2 more than wookong. He says that the components are better and includes a better GPS system.
I've been checking SuperX, is cheap! In case I do not trust DJI controller I choose with the combo I think I'd go for it.

superx wont support the zenmeuse so if you do switch youd need both flight controllers or at least a naza for zenmeuse

i'd get wookong if you had to choose a2 or wk.... a2 has too many issues that not only crash em, it destroys then in how it goes full power inverted

The A2 GPS puck is HUGE, 2.5" accross vs the Naza M V2 that's barely 1.7"... lol

For flight time with the Z15-GH4 and a tattu 16,000mah, you can prob get 15 minutes, i never fly that much in one go for 'filming'. The 22,000 also fits and that should give you some good time.
For long flights/inspections, i use my sony HD cam and my InfinityM gimbal (half the weight of the Zenmuse). I get an additional few mins.
