ESC problem DJI 30A opto

hei guys,
i'm a newbie in this forum. I was searching if anyone had similar problem with the DJI esc 30A.

I had my DJI Naza F450 completed built last week and had a couple of easy flights, i must say i love this machine already.
But today when ready for another flight, the motor1 sputters and i later determined it was problem with the esc1.

When i connected motor1 to esc2, motor1 works fine. Then when i connected esc2 to port M1 on main control unit, the esc2 and motor also run ok.
So i figured the problem must be with esc1.

Had anyone seen this problem? especially since the esc has had only 2 flights (about 8 minutes each).

Would appreciate any suggestion how to check if the esc is really damaged.
Thanks
-nik

It does happen. Have you check the solder joints to the bullet connectors on the esc. One of them could be bad. However, you may not be able to get it replaced if you muck with it. I would contact your dealer for a warranty replacement.

Thanks Ed, that hidden solder joint could be it. I will first try ask replacement from dealer in germany.
