I see that they (dji) advertise "16 free waypoints" with naza M and 50 with wookong. Is it possible to purchase/upgrade to allow for more waypoints on the naza M ?

Yes - if you purchase the PC Ground Station, you will have the ability to plot a full 50 waypoints through the software. The software is compatible with the NAZA and many others.

Hope that helps!

I think the 16 waypoints could be a hardware limit of the Naza M, the software will plot 50 points but I am not sure if it will carry out the mission with 50 points.

Very good point - I didn't even think about it that way. Based on the Release Notes for Firmware v4.00 (linked below) it seems the NAZA does in fact only support 16 waypoints.

Good call, soler! Cheers to you.

Well we received the ground station and have it installed. 16 waypoints is indeed what is allowed with the naza m v2. Now, for another question, have any of you ran into issues when using the simulator mode? I cant for the life of me get the altitude of the "simulated" aircraft below around 700m thus it takes forever to drop in altitude to my waypoints I have set for the craft to fly. When I change from "Real Mode" to sim mode is when this happens. Any ideas??
