Yes, that's correct. Just download the new Assistant, install & launch, power on and plug on the NAZA. It should ask you if you want to update almost immediately. All settings are saved.

I'm still using V 1.6 Assistant and 2.01 firmware on my 550 which has been flying well. But this update seems well worth while but can I go straight from 2.01 to the latest update?

Yes you can, just download the Naza Assistant software and it will do it for you.

Olemil, you can try the zeal. DJI has stated that on the S800 mounting on zeal is an acceptable option. This differs from their previous position. I think if you are planning to use some kind of ties you may be inducing more vibrations that you are solving with the zeal. Try it and see how it works for you.

This is the theory I was going by, seems to work well for heli gyro's but not sure I would need the metal plate. I just ordered 2-3300mah 35c 4s batteries and have my 8" DJI props installed so guess I'll see what that does for my wind bobbles before I dissect the F450 to try a different dampening material on the FC. Thanks for the input and hopefully I can give an update soon when the packs get here. Oh I ordered a set of landing skids too....damn spending money on something I'm not even sure will be stable in the wind yet....LOL. Thanks.
