Hi All. Im building a Tarot 680 Pro. I am trying to just bind up my Spektrum DX7 and AR 8000 receiver. But I get no flashing LED at all on receiver. I am just bench powering it up with 1 DJI 30 amp opto ESC right now. (also read that you don't have to Calibrate DJI ESC s ??, any comment would be appreciated). The reason I am asking is that I only have 3.3vdc out of esc. According to Horizon Hobby it is not enough to power up the AR8000. But you cannot calibrate ESC till you have a bound receiver? Am I missing something.? Also have read many conflicting posts/Youtube videos about whether or not you should feed Receiver with only one power feed from ESCs by removing the red wire from the other 5? I would greatly appreciate any feedback.

DJI escs are opto and don't have a bec. You do not have to calibrate them. Your AR8000 is drawing power from the controller not the esc.

Thanks Ed, So I need to remove the red wire from my 3 pin plug on my 6 ESCs, or leave them, it doesn't matter.?
