An issue with naza and ppm

Hi all

As every one i was happy when the upgrade came and connected my dragon link to naza fc with a single ppm cable.
I am not sure if it started at the same time. But ..

The problem is that there are disconnections in rc link during flight.
It comes at even two meters away. Or two km away.

Lets say i am flying forward. With out leaving the cyclic stick. The quad stops at mid air ( unless in manual .. then it falls .. ) still holding cyclic forward ! Then after two seconds it goes on flying for about 5-10 seconds .. then stops again .. holds ... goes on ... and again ... and again ...

I changed the dl rx .. it didn't change. I changed the servo cable ... it didn't change ...

Only when changed back to pcm the problem went away.

Did any one else encountered this problem ?

Thank you.

no but that system you got is weird so it doesn't surprise me. dragonlink leaves alot to be desired. had one, thing tried to kill me

hit the dragonlink thread at rcgroups about it. Have you tried the resistor they included in the kit?

:)

thanks for the comments.

the issue with manual mode not working .. is not a manual mode thing after all but a link issue.
i didn't understand it .. but now it is clear to me.

in atti mode the quad just stops .. but in manual mode .. it stopes and falls.. .

this same rx is used now on a falcon fpv with no issues at all ... also connected with ppm.

i am pretty sure the issue is naza / dl not communicating so well.

i did post the same at the rcg / dl thread.

hope to hear from mike or chris.

thanks.

christ, i was posting everyday.

try this, with ppm on and selected, open naza assistant and look at what the controls do when nothing is touched....... are you on spektrum/jr

:(

i use er9x with latest ver.
also in the assist display it's all working fine.

same stuff with no ppm works fine.
same rx on another quad / plane works fine.

i can live with that .. after all there is plenty of room on the 550 frame ..

gotcha.... weird. did you calibrate the tx in "tx cali" after switching over to ppm

did you ever do that calibration with the DL? with that plug on rx and tx flashing red/green?

yes .. did all the proc. several times.
run the wizards .. cooked a goat ..
crossed my fingers .. nothing :)

i have 3 rx .. all of them work the same.
in the quad with kk2 fc .. it works fine.
in the falcon it works fine ...

only with miss. naza ...
