altitude not holding

I am having a little problem with one of my NAZA Lites on a Quad, it is not holding its altitude in any mode, it will climb and the drop then climb and drop, other than that it is very stable, any help would be great. Gains do not seem to affect this problem.

When I've had problems with my Naza Lite's, and I have 7 flying, it's always been "vibration". Props and or motors out of balance. I went round and round for days trying to sort out a new build, with some cheap motors, only to finally realize the motors were terribly out of balance. Naza was doing all kinds of strange things. Replaced the motors with a different brand, and all is well. This was on one of the HK china cheapo 250 frames, all dirty plate, so to speak.

I am using a 4s 3000mah 880 kv Storm motors and 9x4.7 cf props, what is AUW? I also have 3 other MR a HEX,Y6 and X8 and they all fly perfect, this one flies good it is just when I want to hover for a few min. it climbs and descends back and forth at about 15-20 foot pattern.

Hi Lauren this is the latest one, it flies great just has this up and down pulsing. The AUW is 1300 g.

your alt hold in atti will benefit from smaller props.... you would like to see 45-55% throttle in manual hovers

I have a set of 8" Graupner I will try them this afternoon and report back, thanks Kloner.

I put the 8" Graupners on and the altitude is stable looks like I just had to much prop. Hovers in manual at about 50%.
Thanks for the input Kloner

Help! I had to replace a control board on my Phantom and all I get is yellow blinking LED's. The assistant says configuration error and I'e done everything I can think of.
It seemed like it took the recallibration a couple of times, but always goes back to the yellow blinky blinky thing. What do I try next.

Have you done this?

Yes. My reciever has two cables to the naza m v2 and the reset is on the bottom side of the reciever and I'e rebound it over and over turning the red blinky out with same result.

In the assistant, I forget exactly where but it might be on the calibration screen for the transmitter, is a selection menu in which you select what type of receiver to the NAZA FC connection you have. One selection says traditional, another PPM, and a third which I forget. See what that is set at. I think for you it should be PPM. What does yours say?
