KK Flight Controller New Forum! KK flight controllers

Absolutely the best FC bang for the buck. I am using one for FPV on a DIY quad and it is fantastic. I dialed the expo up and it is very stable for what I am doing. I also own an HFP and am using that as my GoPro platform on a Y6. It too is equally as good. KK2.0 LCD with 1.5 firmware highly...

    Hoverfly HF GPS not work

I am just wondering out loud if the carbon frame is to blame. I know that the Align series of heli's, especially the 500 had issues with static buildup which affected gyro performance. Here is the thread: http://www.helifreak.com/showthread.php?t=61205 It seemed that grounding the ESC to the...

    Hoverfly AL/Manual issues

I could not find any reference to any accident that AV8Chuck had other than him commenting about someone else that had a 5 stitch encounter however if you search RCG Multi copter talk you will find a plethora of injuries from these things. The one I remember the most is this one...

    Hoverfly AL/Manual issues

So does this mean that a person will never be able to use the trims again to trim out wind drift while in AL or Manual? Sorry but this is how I read your procedure. All I know is that I had a drift issue between Man and AL. I tried multiple times to get the two to match using the procedure of...

    Hoverfly AL/Manual issues

I agree that you should NEVER get close to the multi without disarming it but I tried numerous times to get the os to remember the trim setting and I found through a one time power down without disarming that it remembered the trims. I may have done something wrong but it was the ONLY way that I...

    Hoverfly AL/Manual issues

Exactly!! I had a problem with keeping the AL trims after powering down but I was disarming the board everytime. DO NOT DISARM. Power down with the board still active and it will remember the trim settings. I can't recall anywhere in the manual that specifies this. Cheers MJ

Hoverfly HOVERFLY PRO/GPS FIRMWARE RELEASE: v4.3.860

So are there some constructive comments on .860?? I was just flying my Y6 this weekend on .820 and I cannot see any reason to upgrade. .820 is working REALLY well for me so far. Cheers MJ

Hoverfly HoverFLypro Gains (Normal , AL , AH )

Exactly!! That is why the gain readout in the setup client is so important. I'm not so sure it is the .802 firmware that does not give the bump anymore. I think that if you had mismatched gains for MAN and AL in the setup client you would still have a bump. I'm too chicken to try it on purpose!

Hoverfly HoverFLypro Gains (Normal , AL , AH )

I'm sorry you don't get it. All I know is that I made the gain numbers in the transmitter the same (JR9303 + & - values which are MAN and AL respectively) my Y6 would always have a little "bump".......that is......it would very momentarily pitch up or down whenever I flipped from MAN to AL. No...

Hoverfly HoverFLypro Gains (Normal , AL , AH )

Please keep the gain values in the setup client!!!! When I set my gains on my tx (JR9303) to read the same plus and minus (MAN & AL) the setup client showed they were not matched. There was a 5% difference and when I changed the tx settings to make the gains on the setup client match it did away...

Hoverfly OSD and YAW issues .802

I will heartily agree with you Stacky. I did have initial problems but they were problems of my own doing. Not setting up properly and not being precise enough while setting up was my biggest issue. Now I have it tuned HFP is rock solid. Granted I do not have a GPS (yet) but the way .802 is...

    Hoverfly Transfer from RCGroups

Hi Chris I just have a simple Jakub GoPro 2 axis gimbal and a couple of firmware upgrades ago the camera stabilisation improved greatly. Before there was "stepping" of the Hitec 5065 digital servos but that went away along with my "jello". I think the stepping of the sevos when the board was...

    Our first aerial art show

Nice art Terry!! My wife and I are doing the same thing but just for our own consumption. I'll have to get some of our stuff from her computer and post it. We have not done a lot but are planning to do quite a bit more as the FC I am using has just had a firmware upgrade and is now a fantastic...

    Hoverfly Transfer from RCGroups

My first real post in MRF!! I have to say the difference between the 4.3.800 and 4.3.802 firmware versions is night and day. 802 is so stable in all axies under all conditions (wind) and in all modes (AL, AH, MAN) and I am extremely happy with it! I do not have the GPS board......yet........but...
