Yea I thought once I downloaded the latest software which was 1.8 that would include everything but I had to go back and download the drivers separately. There is a separate download listed for this and it worked. Thats all I know.

I had something similiar happen the other day and as it turned out I didn't have the drivers that I needed for the Naza Assistant downloaded. I downloaded the drivers from the DJI website and everything was cool from then on. Good luck.

You know that makes sense, coming down in its own rotor wash. I guess if you apply a little forward motion it might have a tendency to come out of the wash so to speak. I have found that it does it if I have my camera on it or stripped down like it is now. You guys are gonna make me a Hex pilot...

I am fairly confident that soldering to the ESC is the best way to go. I thought I would throw another little problem out to see if this is happening to anyone else. Upon descending with my F550 alot of the times it gets kinda erratic or wobbly I guess would be another way to describe it. So...

Kloner, that looks like good advise about bending the springy thing out to make it tight again especially with the deans, but I still think it would be better to solder the wires to the ESC. Probably just me.

I have flown my F550 twice since I did the solder job on the bullets, which upon close examination I could tell two out of the three were quite loose, I have started to gain a little confidence in the thing staying in the air, however I think I will stick to taking pictures with my GoPro for a...

I soldered the bullet connectors and that seemed to fix it. I have flown the f550 a couple of times with no problems. I will be soldering the rest of the bullets. Seems like another good idea with the design of those things that just didn't work out.

Sounds like some good advice guys. Thanks. I like the swapping the motor part especially. That would definately point to something going on at a particular location.

Does anybody know if an ESC that is going bad will make a motor run hot and cause intermittent cutout (bump)? These are the things I am experiencing with one of my motors on my F550.:upset:
