I'm assuming you're running the Naza-M on your 550. The LED module has a BEC built in that feeds 5v to the Naza, which in turn feeds 5v to the receiver and its sub modules, telemetry, etc. you should be fine. The altimeter module should get its power off the FC/receiver circuit.

I'm interested in this also. In my first rudimentary attempts at motor balancing, the Z axis usually shows the worst vibration and responds least to balancing attempts.
