    Sorry, so what you're saying is the radio itself has had a firmware installed that was developed specifically by 3DR???? If so, is there any way you can flash it with the stock firmware that is supposed to be on the radio? Or do you still use the 3DR craft? Have you moved over to an airplane...

    I had it put me over the water in Canada once on the map. I was in Vermont :) Only happened that one time as I recall.

    That's definitely a good point. Keeping track of what the integrated PDB can handle and playing it safe is probably the best bet. But in fairness, I have to say that I've trusted manufacturers of external PDBs on their ratings without testing them too. Granted, I buy from reputable companies...

    Good to hear you're making progress. If the radio has a preset that was supposed to run a 3DR machine (APM), it may be easiest to start a fresh model. Sometimes finding the little inconsistencies is the hardest part :)
