You will need a pdb, the CHUB was designed to mate with your F405 https://www.getfpv.com/matek-fchub-a5-w-current-sensor-184a-bec-5v-2a.html As for the Zippy lipos, stay away from them. Period. I have always used Tattu R-Line but recently switched to RDQ Series lipos. Great performance at a...

Agreed, there are many things in this hobby that may seem a little overwhelming when you're first starting out. The actual mechanics of a build are quite simple, but as you've found out, compatibility is one of the main issues. But with a little research, there's always a solution. That's why...

Just to clarify, when you're making reference to simulation, are you talking about online simulators such as Liftoff, Velocidrone, etc? Just trying to get a handle on what you're asking as it seems that in your OP, you were just asking about connecting a receiver to a flight controller and...

    Need Help! Looking for upgrade!

Hey Andre, welcome to the forum. A couple hours west of you in St Thomas. What's your budget? Do you want something with GPS so you have return to home and altitude hold or something more basic to just fly around with? Do you want something with decent video recording capabilities?

Enough of that negative attitude mister, this hobby is supposed to be fun!! Seriously though, you are just overthinking things. Your Flysky radio system uses iBus signal protocol and is therefore compatible with virtually an flight controller on the market

    Beginner flyer with problem

The only sure-fire way I know to remove stripped screws is by using a dremel tool and grinding a slot in the head of the screw so that you can remove them with a screwdriver. May be difficult in this instance though, as I'm assuming the screws are quite small.

First Drone - Doesn't Respond to Remote

Translation: 1) Push your left stick all the way down 2) Turn the transmitter on 3) Push the left stick all the way forward 4) Push the left stick all the way down You should now be good to go

    Betaflight saving trouble

Nothing to worry about, it's quite common. I've got a few boards and half of them kick me out when I save a setting and the other half stay connected, As long as the changes are saved, you've got nothing to worry about. It's also a good idea when you make changes to actually power cycle your...

What the difference between Transmitter and Receiver?

Like anything in this hobby, it can be as simple or complicated as people want. Transmitter, Transmitter/Receiver, whatever, to me it's still just a freakin' radio bwahahaha

What the difference between Transmitter and Receiver?

Look at this link. The transmitter is the AT9 which you hold in your hands to control the quadcopter. Scroll down and you will see the R9D which is the receiver that goes in the quadcopter and receives the signal from the transmitter...

Possible that it was cycled at the factory to "break it in" prior to shipping

Do Betaflight Flight Controllers (FC) ship with factory default settings?

Most boards come loaded with Cleanflight or Betaflight FW, but depending when it was manufactured, can be quite out-of-date. As for default settings, I just flashed a Revo F4 with Betaflight 3.1.7 on a Space One FPV Formula 220X and it flies amazing without any adjustments.

Discussion What "drones" do you own?

As amazing as this photo is, what really impresses me is the smile on your wife's face. She doesn't know, does she. I can hear it now "Hey sweety, look at the deal I got on an Inspire 2 - only $49.99 at Banggood!"

Discussion What "drones" do you own?

You'll love the Eagle Tree system! As complicated as it looks, it's been refined to the point where it's actually very easy to set up. The OSD features are second to none.

    Naza Lite and PC connection

Just rebuild it and test the motors when you're done. When I'm doing a build, motor test is basically the last step before maiden flight
