hoo boy....1.9 million civil penalty! that's a lot of photos!

I am still trying to get a definite answer, but what i could find is these are the best for lipo fires and won't destroy your electronics. http://www.h3raviation.com/halotron.htm Now I do! http://www.fire.tc.faa.gov/2007Conference/files/Training_Videos/ThursPM/Videos/Laptop_master.wmv

    TBS Crossfire

I recently went from stock Taranis 2.4g to Ezuhf and have had nothing but problems at any distance because of high noise floor on 2.4 and 430mhz. Well I now have the Crossfire and all I can say it is amazing piece of engineering! I'm not looking to fly out of LOS, but instead wanting flawless...

    T-Motor 40A -400MHz ESC Questions

That totally sucks! I wish more people would think to ask for local assistance on the forums then they do. I always willing to help anyone with their build/maiden flight. It's always nice to have an experienced person too look over everything, especially with a first build.:)

Current feeling on U7 and equivalent KDE?

It can't be that hard to write a piece of software that would follow the average lipo discharge curve in controlling power supply output. That way you could have repeatable data for different sized lipos and loads. I have great ideas on how to solve the problem. Just don't write software.

Current feeling on U7 and equivalent KDE?

The 95+ amp esc's are the safe route to go with the 5215 motors. I wouldn't fly the 75's with those.:)

    Momentary Power Surge HC1100

It's clearly all the motors doing it at the same time. I think your right, first thing is swap FC's.

    Momentary Power Surge HC1100

Have another receiver to try? Maybe it's shutting down the throttle intermittently. I've never dealt with the A2, but how do you disable the internal receiver? Might be something to look at.

    Tarot 680 altitude test

That's why your bearings/esc's are failing from heat. I run a similar motor, (515kv) and there is know way those motors of yours will ever handle anything remotely close to 800 watts and 35+ amps at 100% running a 6S.:)

    Tarot 680 altitude test

Your over propped.:) You would need to change to 4S or smaller props. Motors will be more efficient running a 4S.

Current feeling on U7 and equivalent KDE?

On a side note. I haven't ever run the U7's. But I would almost bet my a** they will be fine with the Castles. The problem is they are expensive, but so are the KDEs Castle did firmware updates this year just to address the sync issues with different low kv motors.
