+1... I was going to say the same thing.
For me, the most useless feature of the Wookong is the X3 assignment to Return To Home because the system already has the built in with the other inputs. It's just a redudant feature.
I can't find it right now, but on YouTube there are several videos...
I have yet to read anything specific that is different between the two, other than the enclosure being plastic versus aluminum. Whatever the difference, the design changes are aimed at helping the Wookong to maintain altitude better.
I fly the IMU V1 with no problems at all on my S800, and I...
hjls3, I have to say, that is pretty cool. Please show us the video as well! Now I want to take out my MR to photo/video my airplane... only problem is I can't do both at the same time... doh!
Doh! Nigel, I think you're right. I'm not motor/prop guru, but at that lower spin rate, and only 10" props, it seems like that would be the root cause. Especially since he said he was at 100% throttle. My F450 skyrockets at 100%, and I have it more loaded than Drewvian seems to have his.
Drewvian, I'll just tell you from my perspective, I'm not as adventurous as some when it comes to building multirotors. My goal is simply to get up flying and do aerial photography, so I stick to proven mix and matches of components that require the less work. So I stuck to Naza and the ESCs...
Here's a video of an acreage/farm near my house that went up for sale.
Thanks to Jareth Atian for introducing me to Dexter Britain and his music. That's where I found this music piece just perfect for this video.
Drewvian, I am going to have to defer to some of the other experts, but looking at the video, it sure looks like your four props are not rotating at the same speed. Obviously I know that the camera is just sampling the motors, but you can see that even with the strobing effect that not all...
You are correct, and I don't know exactly fj_montilla's setup, but yes, his settings would imply that his COG is a couple of cm above the top plate, which I also have difficultly seeing, especially if he has a Zenmuse mounted. Montilla, can you help us understand how/why you have a positive 5cm...
Bart, Denny, as usual, has some great build guidelines that would be a shame to have buried in this one thread. Can we find a home for some stuff like this, maybe under the Beginners Lounge, or the Multirotor Build thread? But a standalone post.
When you install the Zenmuse, your center of gravity is going to move, so by definition, all your numbers will need to be re-figured out. Now, if in the process of installing the Zenmuse, you rearrange things so that the CG is still close to the center of the main hub, then your X and Y values...
ChrisViper has some nice picture's he has uploaded that helped me when I reconfigured mine with the anti-vibe kit:

dsirc, I had mine configured pretty close to yours... that is, until I installed the anti vibe kit. Then I had to re-lay everything out totally differently. In short, I moved the MC unit to the top of the top plate right where the IMU was located (center back). I put the side with the motor...
Naza has this new feature introduced about 2 months ago in which the motors spin at low speeds between 0 and 50% of the throttle stick. In other words, you arm the motors, and if you do nothing, the motors will shut off after 3 seconds. But if you start to give it a little throttle, the motors...
Louis, I would recommend you check out for yourself if your WKM is switching out of GPS mode as Dave is seeing. I wouldn't say your lucky. Yes, there are apparently several people this is happening to, but not everyone. I upgraded to 5.24 and have v1 IMU and V2 GPS and haven't had a single...
