Have you put some tape over the left side of the Naza? It is a known fault that sunlight hitting the Naza will cause a suddenly loss of altitude. When you took the gimbal off and flown, you might not have been exposing the left side to the sun. Peter

Tiki, I think I'd tend to wait until it arrives. The 550, having six arms is easy to take off and land. If you put landing gear on, you've a smaller area and you're more likely to tip it over on take off and landing if the grounds not level. See which way it is inclined to go on take off and...
