    F550 - BATTERY - Props

Sorry, bit late. I can't remember the size, should be on the web somewhere. Only the 9" required reaming, I used a £1 file and it worked fine. Still using the same props 6 months down the line. No vibes from them so all good. The 8" and 10" were a direct fit. Why do you fancy wood?

    F550 - BATTERY - Props

Hi hi, The 8" and 10" were both a direct fit for me but needed washers. The 9" needed reaming out (I just filed them) but used the original DJI screws plus some rubber o-rings to create friction instead of thread-lock as I take my blades off for transport.

    F550 - BATTERY - Props

Hi hi. I have the same lipo (hardshell though) and an F550. I use 9" Graupners which are lovely. Have 8" and 10" too but 9" seem to have the characteristics I'm looking for. They did need some filing to make them fit but you can file them so they have the notch in them to stop rotation. Cool?

Any comments from those using multicopters for an aerial photography business

Yes, sorry, UK I am. Looking at the US their guidelines seem to be going exactly the same way. My only advice is keep the All-Up-Weight below 7kg as there is an exemption for certain aspects (flight worthiness certificate). Probably will be the same in the US. Cheers!

Any comments from those using multicopters for an aerial photography business

Hi there, I've also been flying helis for a few years (3D) and thought the potential of multis was quite large. Have in invested in an S800 with Zenmuse with a view to becoming an aerial photographer. Plan on taking the course (BNUC-S) also. As far as I know inspections from a distance is okay...

S800 Owners - What battery config do you use??

I think they come without the legs as they are an upgrade rather than a complete set. Correct me if I'm wrong. The instructions mention cutting 40mm off the original legs to fit.

How can a quad change programing by itself????

Have you offset your GPS for magnetic declination? It's not supposed to point straight forward. That would cause your TBE (toilet bowl effect) that you're having.

S800 Owners - What battery config do you use??

Those Secraft landing gear look really good. Better than the DJI ones. How are they?

S800 Owners - What battery config do you use??

I also fly with 2x5000mah and get exactly the same flight time as above. The Maxamps 11000mah lipos only weigh 1.2kg which give a significant weight saving but they're quite expensive. Cheers!

First Video Flight - Something Went Wrong

And there's nothing wrong with Spektrum my good man! Lots of people use it. I use DX7s for F550 and DX10t for S800. Hope you fix it!

Please help : Sony NEX-7 and Zenmuse do not fit together

Agree with above. You'd need the Nex-7 gimbal which is different than the Nex-5.

DJI Flamewheel 550 Crash - IOC Failure

I have the same setup as you F550, DX7s and Naza and have not had a problem with IOC. In the assistant I just adjust the channel gain (AUX2) until home lock is blue. Just checked and I use -100% and +100%. No course lock for me. Works fine but the handful of times I've used it, but I fly FPV so...

    The Old Zenmuse GH2/Nex-5 thing...

Hey There, Ended up with the Sony Nex-5. Went to the Sony shop and they sold it for £600 without the 16mm lense. Across the road (Tottenham Court Road) they had one for £370 with the 16mm. Couldn't stretch to the Nex-7 or a GH3 (when it comes in stock) as they were three times the price and I...

    The Old Zenmuse GH2/Nex-5 thing...

Such as? I don't plan on getting the gimbal part until May this year so my options will be open till then. I thought I'd start with the camera. Of course price is a factor, well, when isn't it? The Nex-5 with 16mm is a nice £600 which doesn't seem too bad. Nex-7 with 16mm is £900. That's as...

    The Old Zenmuse GH2/Nex-5 thing...

Thanks! So Nex-7 compared to GH2, both in the same price range. I love the look of the Sonys and they would be great for my wife to use when I'm not. The GH2 has a real camera look to it but is quite heavy in comparison. I'm really concerned with video results. I would like higher frame rates...

    The Old Zenmuse GH2/Nex-5 thing...

Hi guys, I'm going to buy a Panasonic GH2 tomorrow as I plan on building an S800 with Zenmuse with a view to videography. I understand the GH2 is much more versatile and capable of upgrading (hack) to outperform the Nex-5 in video results. Am I right? Is the GH2 much better than a Sony Nex-5...

Hi from London! DJI F550 Naza GPS with GoPro + Wifi Bacpac.

Nice! I've always wanted to do The Shard. But never will of course. Or a certain power station. Thanks for the support Keith! Just get out there and fly! That's the best advice I can give. Don't get distracted and do what you're comfortable with in the space you have. I'm seriously...

Hi from London! DJI F550 Naza GPS with GoPro + Wifi Bacpac.

Hey There, I've been plodding along flying every weekend and practising. My mum just got a nice house in the country so had a go at filming it. Planning on going S800 + Zenmuse/Nex-5 this year! Cheers!
