    Multi-rotor used on Gold Rush,

Yeah, I loved that showreel! But having your aircraft fall out of the sky in front of the director is still a major bummer! Glad it didn't seem to affect business!

AR800 can't find DX8 even though successfully binded / bound.

You don't need the stick pressed in the whole time, just powering up until the receiver lights are blinking. But I don't think that's your problem. If the receiver lights are solid you're fine on the transmitter end. On the assistant I take it everything moves/activates as it should? You can...

    Multi-rotor used on Gold Rush,

How depressing! Such a shame. That poor pilot must feel really disappointed.:upset:

AR800 can't find DX8 even though successfully binded / bound.

If you're using the TM10000 you don't use a bind plug, press the button on the side of the TM10000 whilst connecting the power. There's a small stick thing you use to press it. You bind to the TM10000 not the receiver (kind of). It sounds to me like a problem with your assistant setup. Go...

AR800 can't find DX8 even though successfully binded / bound.

Oh, I noticed you have the TM1000, so no bind plug. I assume you mean the Naza LED is blinking (the receiver has an LED too)? If the receiver light is solid then it's not your transmitter or receiver that's the problem, it's a naza setup thing. Connections plugged in the correct way round...

Did you remove the bind plug? Try binding again.

Issues getting naza to connect to assistant

Try different USB ports. Ignore the 'MC connected' message thing if the transmitter is not responding. Solid light on your AR8000 receiver?

Issues getting naza to connect to assistant

Hmm. Sure the binding process was okay? Tried a re-bind? What receiver, transmitter and frame are you using?

Should I Buy a Spare Motor?

Usually it's not necessary to keep lots of spares around unless you plan on crashing a lot. In a year you'll probably have outgrown whatever you own and be looking to build a new aircraft. Cool?

First and hopefully last FLY AWAY with Naza v2

Yeah, sorry about that! That's the nature of the forum I guess, we're easily sidetracked!

Issues getting naza to connect to assistant

What do you mean by 'hard wire' the receiver to the Naza? Did you install the driver for the Naza with the Naza powered on and connected to the PC?

First and hopefully last FLY AWAY with Naza v2

I think you've fixed it. Burnt out motor was probably the cause. Trust in your craft will slowly return after a few good flights. Have fun!

I think the finished one will be even better. There's a few really great timelapses in there. I'm glad the inside flight made into that video. I don't like flying inside!

100% at 55 degrees throttle travel

After the upgrade did you re-calibrate the transmitter stick movements in the assistant? Are you sure the settings in the assistant software are correct? IMU correct direction selected and movements of channels in the assistant as per instructions. How about your transmitter settings...

Aerial Photo/Video Forums area expanding, suggestions?

A 'How to become a licensed UAV Aerial Photographer' section would be helpful, discussing the road from turning a hobby into a profession. I also have lots of free time and would like to be considered for a moderator position. I find I'm reading the forum throughout the day and am a full-time...

"Multirotor Stalking" Any have an issue with neighbors?

My neighbour once asked me to stop flying on my own property. I apologised and stopped. Why make a fuss? I explained what I was doing and that I had a license, although I was just flying for fun, but he was still not impressed. You've got to live with these people so might as well live happily...
