    Thoughts on Aerialmediapros?

If you guys had actually read the posts in this thread and not just the title you'd see that everyone said great things about AMP! Even the OP!

declination and a GPS head glued to post :-(

Hedy mate, I glue the rod in at both ends. But use the little round 3M sticky pad to attach the compass to the bracket. The little line decal is to put on top of the compass so it's easier to see which way is forward. Cool? PS- This thread was started a couple of years ago.

Yep, I'm usually solo. One head is easier to control than two! I had a few moments where I was swearing quite a bit when I was really low but it all worked out. The staff were great at the track and stood around watching with fascination. Took about an hour of tracking everyone down beforehand...

Hey mate. Thanks. I always match the frame rate. It's just one of those weird interplays that happens when putting videos through all these programs and then Vimeo. HeyHo. Here's another video I did for the BBC this week of Cheltenham Racecourse. They had me flying from a moving car around the...

I just had a look through the raw footage and it doesn't have any jello. Must be my poor encoding skills ruining it! Darn, another day playing with export settings!

Sorry guys, don't know how I missed all these posts. Been off filming for the BBC and didn't get on the forums properly. I think at 1:09 that may have been a bit of jello as the wind was bouncing off the front of the building. It could also have been a touch of moire or the frame rate also, I'm...

I use the Zenmuse and Panasonic GH2 with 14mm lens. If you mean gains on the gimbal then, no gains! Zenmuse doesn't let you adjust anything.

    How windy is too windy?

Good lord! That's a lot of wind! I don't fly my big rig above 18mph. My little F550 can go to 30mph but it ain't fun, except when you fly downwind which is bloody awesome, then the slow trundle back of course!

Finally, a solution to flying in the rain that works: Now why didn't I think of this!!!?

It was also speeded up quite a bit. Probably exaggerates the side to side motion a bit.

    Zenmuse help

One or the other I think, not both. I just have the power (red and black) connected and the video signal. Cool?

Can manual mode be disabled but made available for compass calibration?

Hey mate, I have manual disabled and can still do compass calibration. I have the modes on a three-way switch, so GPS/ATTI/Failsafe. If I want manual mode I just change the percentage on the Failsafe mode via the transmitter. In my case (Spektrum DX10t) 82% is Failsafe and 42% is Manual...

I need a simple OSD w/GPS and voltage display

The EZOSD is simple and works well. If you get the current sensor also, you can tell exactly how many mah you've used to maximise your flight times.

UK users: Do we know of anyone who ever got prosecuted?

I think up until last year there were maybe 5 cases? I think one of those was a commercial operator. I believe the biggest fine you can get is about £2500. These figures are from memory of reading on another forum sometime ago so don't quote me on them. I think these were the documents I read...

    risk accesment

Yeah, what Jes said. Just identify any hazards and think of sensible actions to reduce the risk. If public are around, suggest signs and observers to warn people what is going on. If roads or structures are nearby think about keeping your distance etc. A risk assessment is just to show you...
