    dji a2 two purple flashes

What about the movements on the assistant program? Throttle up is slider right. Aileron right is slider right. Rudder right is slider right. If any of these are moving incorrectly then use the reverse function on the assistant. You can't reverse throttle direction on the transmitter itself from...

    Just an idea.....

This thread has lots of FPV videos: http://www.multirotorforums.com/showthread.php?4235-Show-your-FPV-video What you're describing is the essence of FPV, is it not? The best camera, antenna, transmitter and receiver account for a large proportion of the threads on here. If you want to start a...

    dji a2 two purple flashes

Ah, when you throttle up the stick should go right. When you hover over the different sliders on the assistant a little info box appears describing the correct movements. I think this is your problem, it's just a setup niggle. We all went through this in the beginning! :nevreness:

    dji a2 two purple flashes

Probably should have mentioned that earlier :nevreness:. So, what is your setup and what transmitter are you using? Are the controls moving in the correct direction as per the manual on the assistant program? Are you doing a CSC to start the motors or just pushing the throttle stick up and...

5.8GHz as a control frequency in the UK.

More info on 5.8GHz as a control frequency.......it's temporarily banned apparently in the UK! 5.8Ghz as a SUAS control frequency – Temporary suspension of PFAW issues by UK CAA There has been recent discussion in the industry about the validity of 5.8Ghz as a SUAS control frequency – a very...

It also means cyclic control. Have you done the transmitter calibration? (sorry, I have to ask just in case, although I'm sure you have :nevreness:). You also get extra flashes if within 10m of the home point. Are you getting the flashes on the landing zone or near it and have you tried...

Wookong M GPS Mode - Fair Warning

Hi Heinz, What do you mean by 'not more controllable' and yawing? It sounds like you could of had a motor/ESC on it's way out. You should have iOSD data for the whole time up until you disconnect the battery. best way to check is have a look.

No, the electrical charge is fuel, the lipos themselves are more like a fuel tank. You're right to include them in your AUW. Also, because I think it's weird, an SUA doesn't have a camera. An SUSA does. How weird they make that distinction! Not confusing at all...

Ah, I see. It'll be a little more difficult then. I believe in the near future they will bring in airworthiness certificates for the 7-20Kg category if operating in a congested area.

hi there! from Christchurch new zealand

Hi there! :nevreness: Seems like lots of people are having problems with the A2 for some reason. I highly recommend the Wookong with latest firmware and v2 IMU. Mine has worked flawlessly for over a year now. What are your specific problems with the A2?

4s lipo how far to take them?

The 80% rule is for mah, not voltage. For a 5000mah lipo you'll take out up to 4000mah. In-flight voltage is different depending on what lipo you're using. I don't go lower than 3.6V per cell under load. When you land is should be around 3.8V per cell. I also recommend using a variety of things...

No probs mate. Sorry I had a hissy fit! Such a princess today for some reason!! :nevreness: I had exactly the same questions in the beginning. The CAA is way more accommodating than they appear on paper, I honestly wouldn't worry about it. Not every job will be in a congested area. For me it's...

Hey mate, No, I'm not confused. Requiring additional permission means you are allowed to fly. Not allowed to fly means 'no way under any circumstances.' Which of my posts were you referring to anyway? I don't even discuss that in this thread. Please use the quote button where possible. That CAA...

    Video Transmitter

Alas those 'single' antennas are the worst. They are called 'rubber duckies' and have very limited range. You really want skew planter and clover leaf type antennas as a minimum. A small patch antenna on your receiver will quadruple your range. Try one of the 'mushroom' antennas on your...
