Hi all,
Rob here from Northen Calif, when i say north i dont mean san francisco i mean North like way north of Sacramento., which im in Redding Calif. I can really say that this is "land of the nuts", all 38 million.
I happen upon this forum, specifically Bartman's very informative thread on a f450 introduction build.
I used to build and fly rc planes way back (using dope and then monokote) and have done rc cars as of late and wanted to get into helicopters but never did.
Recently a friend told me he bought a phantom 2 setup and i started investigating dji and all that goes along with flying these setups. I was just short of buying a vision+ and had read about fly awys and the such and decided to back up and thats when i ran across Bartman's thread and thought i need to build one of these to really understand them.
Now im looking into radios and a list of items for my first build.
