Yes, it includes motors and ESCs as they are integrated into the frame. Why wouldn't you use a WKM? They're great! I'm sure they'll offer it as a frame only also. Remember, they are not on sale yet so you'll only see the package deals on offer at this stage.

I use an ImmersionRC 5.8GHz transmitter and a black pearl monitor. No complaints.

Yeah, it looks like it's going to be tight on the weight front. I think it might be a single lipo setup to keep it down. It weighs 3.3kg whereas my original S800 is 2.6kg. The EVO is 3.7kg so there is a small weight saving in comparison.

Everyone flies with FPV! How on earth would you frame a shot otherwise? I think you are thinking I'm sitting there with goggles on or something, wrong! Why does everyone get so confused by the term FPV, it just means video transmission. I have a monitor on a tripod which I glance at every now...

You can both share the monitor if you like. I prefer to give the cam-op some goggles so they don't get distracted. Or, they use the monitor/goggles and I use these Pirate-Eye sunglasses which have a small monitor built into the corner of them.

Looks lovely doesn't it. I like the removable top plate for placing your electronics easily. The DJI S800 EVO is now discontinued for those who haven't heard.

That's the million dollar question. It is stressful with one man and it usually takes a couple of goes to get it with one man. Saying that, I have been doing one-man for a year and a half with great success, but I think it is down to the transmitter I use to be honest as the control arrangement...

Hey mate, Firstly, avoid powering up your Zenmuse without the signal lead connected to the flight controller. It needs that information to maintain it's hold. Could you explain drifting and erratic behaviour? Also, how can you connect them in different ways? There's surely only one correct way.

I personally have had a great time with 5.26 this year. Not a single issue. I would leave the gimbal and props on. You may have to stretch your arms a bit but in my opinion the aircraft should be entirely flight ready when you do the calibration. Just keep trying, it'll come together...

Email Lawrence Hay at the CAA with a plan and a rough safety case. Avoid asking questions and use maps, Scribble Maps are great. Don't expect a quick response so plan early, he's a very busy man by the sounds of it!
