Ya I was getting a tutorial on super x from some friends yesterday, the software for super x seems simple... too simple actually, but the data logging by far makes up for it. To be fair I've been flying too WKMs since 2012 with no issues. Scratch that, minimal issues. Couple years ago I had one...

I want to switch to the alta, but I am going to wait for the octo version. Even then I hate to not have control over what hardware I use.

Oh sorry, active means it has the electrical contacts to talk to the lens. So you can control lens through the camera, or sbus port in this case.

That's the million dollar question. I'm switching to super X for their data logging.

I agree with this, but let's also take a step back and look at this objectively. DJI is by far the most used, there primary market is consumer phantoms. Just by the number of users there will be more reported FC failures. It's a sensitive piece of hardware and failures, many of them pilot error...

there is a reason people don't use a $32.00 fc to fly a 60k multirotor. And it wasn't a dji frame.

I looked at these a little while ago, the people from airborne were nice and quick to respond to messages. I am interested to see how the quick release holds up over time.
