    FAA may get Drones Right.

Looks like we might be seeing push back from the corporations that have been lobbying the for years to hold the market high ground through the regulatory process. Please do write. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Just for giggles. In the context used miles was appropriate since US was referenced:). A U.S. pilot shifting to the metric system? What's the would coming to?;) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    T8FG, Naza M V2 & R6208SB Issues. Please help

If you want to do a second operator just set up a complete second radio. Much easier and totally dedicated. Realistically you should ditch the concept of an 8 channel radio if you want to have so many features. Try 14 channels or more. Big league performance requires big league equipment...

    FAA may get Drones Right.

I agree with Bart. I also believe the responses to the NPRM incorporated into the final law version will dampen some of the Phantom Fervor. With a little luck there will be just enough additions/alterations to discourage those not truly dedicated to craft. We'll still have a few that ignore...

    3DR Pixhawk and Taranis

I'm not familiar with the Taranis but understand one gets to assign just about everything anywhere. I understand you are seeking a data file you can simply upload bit you will have to find someone with the same Tx, FC, and copter to go that route. The FC gains will be very, very close to...

The Hour Is Upon US! FAA To Divulge New sUAS Regulations Today (Sunday 2/15/2015)!

Weeeellll, since the NPRM is posted we all might have an opportunity to suggest some further "codification" of multirotor use at the "hobby" levels. I'm certain some will cringe and shout "blasphemy" but what would be wrong with insisting on manufacturer provided documentation on safe user...

    3DR Pixhawk and Taranis

You should be able to use Pixhawk default PID's and be real close to right. Basic control inputs are standard. Only the "frills" like pan and tilt functions will require extra effort. Flight modes and their channel/switch assignment often ends up user preference. Sent from my iPhone using...

You do this by responding logically and thoughtfully to the NPRM with suggestions that would make it better. That's what the process is all about. We are now in a 90 day public comment period. So ya'll should comment where it counts, with the FAA. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Kde 4215-465 bench test. Shocked by results.

I think the point is all about having relatively accurate tech specs. Lacking that a logical decision process is impossible. BTW I found some similar discrepancies in some T-Motor product data. Seems the industry tech standards have no standards. Lord help them all if they ever have to...

Although I'm not Bart my preference will just about always go to the coax for the manner they respond to a motor/ESC failure. No flip, minimal if any yaw, and retention of flight control. In addition there is at least a perception of better stability in wind. Of course there's a trade off in...

The Hour Is Upon US! FAA To Divulge New sUAS Regulations Today (Sunday 2/15/2015)!

The purpose of the NPRM is to establish the baseline for public comment and later review. I agree with you and what could get such a requirement added to the bill is enough public comments filed in the docket reference this. The document as currently published is not even close to what the...

    How Do We Fix Stupid?

The point of my original post relates to how and in what manner people are made aware of their responsibilities when flying multirotors. Although DJI does seem to be the brand that has an extremely high number of flyaways, which is in and of itself deplorable, it's the users that set the stage...
