There is an add on that would add these buttons but a concern would be that additional buttons and display does add to the visual clutter and UI complexity a tiny bit. I am going to think about a cleaner way it might be implemented. I like the idea

This should be working ok now. We have set the editing time to one year but if necessary we can always extend beyond that globally or on a per user basis. Please see if you can now see edit option correctly. thanks marc
