Help please. I have a 230mm quad problem!!!!

Wow, a prop should never explode. Lucky you weren't hurt. Guess it must have had a crack in the hub or one of the blades. Check your other props. Had it been crashed previously? Can you send a picture of it so we can see what might have happened? Andy.

DJI NAZA V2 with Turnigy 9x Transmitter - PROBLEMS & PROBLEMS

Make sure you calibrate the compass away from large metal objects and sources of interference (including mains cables) Remember, the Naza can take a little while to grab 7+ satellites but it usually happens within 30 secs but can take a couple of minutes in some locations. My Naza finds 10/11...

DJI NAZA V2 with Turnigy 9x Transmitter - PROBLEMS & PROBLEMS

Ok, So just to double check, you rotate the quad 360deg with it horizontal and get a solid green. You then point the front of the quad to the ground and and rotate it around a vertical axis. ie, you simply hold the quad and and walk in a little circle around it. There's no need to mess about...

Dan, Before you leap forward from here you need to read and and digest that Naza manual. You need to understand all those flashes and what to do when in trouble. GPS mode looks ok. DJI NAZA V2 with Turnigy 9x Transmitter - PROBLEMS & PROBLEMS

Hi Dan, I use the 9x in heli mode like the vid. It releases the pitch hold menus that are needed. Heli mode is the one to use on the 9x. Other TX's may be best on fixed wing mode. Other than a few parameter options like pitch hold, they are the same. Andy.

DJI NAZA V2 with Turnigy 9x Transmitter - PROBLEMS & PROBLEMS

No problem. Tradition is the correct setting in Naza, regardless that your radio is PPM. As for the U channel, you need to configure your transmitter to enable it. There are loads of guides on youtube showing you how to configure a channel to the 3 position switch on the 9x so you can switch...

NAZA M starts at 50% throttle?

Hi Tom, The rotors should spin up, with the throttle stick at zero as soon as you complete the arming sequence. You then have to advance the stick beyond 10% within 3 seconds or the rotors will stop again. As you advance the stick from 10% through to around 40% not much happens then as you move...

    60/65% throttle hover more effecient

Hey Greg, Going back to your original question here, are you saying that when your Naza 2 is in GPS mode, your quad needs a constant 65% on the stick to maintain hover? If this is the case, I think there is a minor issue with the TX stick setup. It sound like you've got a little bit of...

How long to learn on small MR before upgrading?

In answer to your thread title question, I think you'd be ready to go full size once you can do the following; 1. Hover the quad competently with it facing you. 2. Competently fly true figure of 8 circuits mixing rudder with the aileron and elevator functions. If you can do these, I think you...

How far from the center of gravity can a NAZA M v2 be safely positioned?

Hi Steve, The TBS Discovery has it placed about 2.25" forward of the CofG as standard so I guess a little more wouldn't hurt. How far forward are you thinking? My measurement is to the centre of the Naza. Andy.

XAircraft Should I reused an FC that was involved in a violent crash?

Failsafe set up and checked working on my FRSKY receiver. Thanks again fltundra and you traxx for starting a thread that lead to an important bit of info for me. You've probably saved my quad from total loss as I experiment with longer range sorties. Andy.
