It performed really good. No problem at all with signal strength (at about 800m at 40m height, away from GS, no sign of signal loss).

"cables" in RCT 800 arms are really bad and soldering is also really bad.

The assistant is still 1.0, but receiver firmware is 1.1. In assistant, click on Tools, then click on A2 FC. From there, you can upgrade receiver (and in future FC). No, i don't own any Spektrum (i use Futaba). I just wanted to be helpful ;)

It works now. And you don't need to download new assistant. Do the upgrade from Tools menu.

As usual when DJI release updates, not all files are uploaded to all servers :/ yeah, try again tomorrow.
