Gunter, I scrape the heavy side with the edge of a razor blade. It does not remove much material and leaves a smooth surface. I know some that sand but I like this method. Picked it up from a post in one of the forums. FYI I have not tried this on CF props. Just the usual EPP.

Gary, I like your design. This is an industrial strength compact roll/tilt unlike the one that I had for my first Gaui mount. If you have the time, could you post your parts list. I am thinking that this might be what I am looking for on my next build. Thanks!
