Has anybody upgraded to this version.. moved the gimbal to the other bus, etc? I cannot find any change documentation yet on the DJI site and have no idea what other improvements there are other than being able to use the A2 Assistant to map the gimbal...

I did the same thing but when I went to 4K 23.98 I had a severely cropped image. I had to restart the camera in 29.97 then switch to 23.98. Be curious to see if you try putting the camera in 23.98 before connecting it up.

It likely is outputting in PAL. All (or most) of them seem to do that. Did you try switching your monitor to PAL?

Hahahaha ok... well I was :) No, it's strictly a lacquer based material and will crack and flake off if anything moves.

I've had no issues with temps in the 0ºC range and seriously doubt the components themselves are affected, at least by design. However.. if you have a marginal connection or flaky component somewhere to begin with, I could see it being temperature affected as things contract in the cold. Maybe...

Plus it's been flown without issues... That alone makes it worth it.

I use it on all the smallest of hardware and also plugs. Gives you an immediate visual if a plug or screw is loose. But I guess if you are going to squirt it on like toothpaste I can see where you would have an issue.

The gimbals are great when they work... but so flaky. It doesn't seem to matter on mine whether the camera is on or off during initialization but if on I often find that it's recording. It amazes me that there can be so many different types of issues with these things. I will mention that I use...

I mentioned this before but the only way for me to get 23.98p or 24p is to handshake the camera in 29.97 first (at 59.94 system frequency), THEN change the camera to the desired frame rate. Any other way doesn't work. Of course this is a total pain since when landing to swap batteries it adds 5...
